Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 3 1/5 oz. beef bouillon cubes
  • 10 oz. canned mushroom pieces, drained
  • 1/2 c. long grain rice
  • 10 oz. water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 10 oz. bamboo shoots
  • 2 c. fresh bean sprouts
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat cooking oil in frying pan, then add next 4 ingredients in the order given.
  2. Saute to soften.
  3. Stir to break up meat and continue cooking until no pink color remains.
