Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1.5 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1.5 cups quick oatmeal
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine, sugar, and brown sugar together.
  2. Add beaten eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Sift and add plain flour, salt, and soda to the mixture.
  4. Mix in oatmeal, Rice Krispies, and chocolate chips.
  5. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
  6. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto the prepared sheet.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 8 minutes until golden.
