Tips & Substitutions

For a lighter version, consider using turkey instead of chicken or incorporating more vegetables like snap peas or carrots. If you don't have soy sauce, tamari or coconut aminos can be good substitutes. To add some crunch, toss in some roasted peanuts or cashews at the end, which pairs beautifully with Stir-Fried Chicken With Broccoli And Peanuts.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the chow mein over a bed of steamed rice or alongside crispy noodles for added texture. It complements well with a side of Egg Drop Soup for a complete meal. You can also garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for extra flavor and presentation. For a balanced dinner, consider pairing it with a light salad.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm it in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave until heated through. You may need to add a splash of water or broth to prevent it from drying out during reheating.
