Ingredients

  • 1 cup white flour
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup soft margarine
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 2 1/2 cups uncooked oats
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 to 1 1/2 cups raisins
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 to 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Beat margarine, peanut butter, white and brown sugars until creamy.
  2. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.
  3. Add flours and baking soda; mix well.
  4. Stir in nuts, wheat germ, oats, raisins and chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
