Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 to 6 ounces Swiss cheese
  • 8 ounces cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg with a whisk.
  2. Prick the pie crust with a fork.
  3. Layer the Swiss cheese and cooked, crumbled bacon in the pie shell.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese and bacon.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 50 minutes until set.
  6. Let stand a few minutes to set before serving.
