Ingredients

  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups corn flakes coarsely crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar; mix well until blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture, beating until well blended.
  6. Stir in coarsely crushed corn flakes, oats, and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet, spacing them about 3 inches apart.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and transfer to wire racks to cool.
