Ingredients

  • 6 lb. cornbread
  • 2 lb. biscuits
  • 3 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 lb. onions
  • 14 eggs
  • 1 pkg. herb seasoning (optional)
  • 1 1/2 gal. chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Soak cornbread and biscuits in chicken broth, ensuring all lumps are broken up.
  2. Add well-beaten eggs, celery seed, black pepper, salt, and chopped onions to the soaked bread mixture.
  3. Grease a baking pan.
  4. Pour the prepared dressing into the pan.
  5. Bake in a 425°F oven for about 1 hour, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Adjust baking time based on thickness.
