Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 large can pork and beans
  • 1 can pinto or kidney beans
  • 1 can limas
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Brown the bacon in a large skillet.
  2. Cook the diced onion and bell pepper until tender.
  3. Brown the beef and drain excess fat.
  4. Combine all ingredients in a large pot or baking dish.
  5. Cook on the stove top or bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
