Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter or oleo
  • 4 Tbsp. plain flour
  • 2 c. cream or milk or half and half
  • 1 tsp. A.1. sauce
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. chopped chicken

Instructions

  1. Melt butter.
  2. Add flour.
  3. Stir until mixed well.
  4. Add broth, milk, onion, and seasonings.
  5. Cook in a double boiler until creamy. Add chicken.
  6. Add more milk if too thick.
  7. Serve over cornbread.
