Daddy'S Spaghetti

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey ⓘ
- 1 yellow onion ⓘ
- 1 red pepper ⓘ
- 1 green pepper
- 1 yellow pepper ⓘ
- 6 oz fresh mushrooms ⓘ
- 26 oz plain Healthy Choice spaghetti sauce ⓘ
- 15 oz can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 15 oz can stewed chopped tomatoes ⓘ
- 7 to 14 oz thin spaghetti or vermicelli ⓘ
- garlic salt ⓘ
- pepper ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp oil or Pam spray ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown the ground turkey in a skillet, finely chopping it as it cooks. Pour off any excess fat.
- Add chopped onion to the skillet and stir well.
- Wait 3 minutes, then add chopped red, green, and yellow peppers.
- Cook the onion and peppers, stirring frequently, until tender.
- Add the spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, stewed chopped tomatoes, and cooked turkey mixture to the skillet.
- In a separate pot, cook the spaghetti or vermicelli according to package instructions, then drain.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce mixture and stir in sliced or chopped mushrooms last.
- Season with garlic salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
