Ingredients

  • potato
  • chicken flavor (bouillon)
  • pepper
  • frozen green peas
  • flour
  • margarine
  • carrot
  • biscuit baking mix
  • milk
  • chicken

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt margarine; stir in flour, chicken flavor (bouillon), and pepper.
  3. Over medium heat, gradually add milk; cook and stir until mixture thickens.
  4. Add cooked chicken, diced potato, chopped carrot, frozen green peas, and seasonings; mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
  6. Prepare biscuit mix according to package directions for rolled biscuits.
  7. Roll out the biscuit dough to cover the dish; cut slashes in the center of the dough.
  8. Place on top of the filling; crimp the edges to seal.
  9. Bake for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Refrigerate leftovers.
