Tips & Substitutions

For added flavor, try substituting ground turkey for the lean ground beef. You can also use quinoa instead of rice for a healthier alternative. If fresh parsley isn't available, dried parsley works well too. For extra spice, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or chopped jalapeños to the beef mixture. Remember to taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Serving Suggestions

Serve these stuffed green peppers alongside a fresh green salad or steamed vegetables for a balanced meal. A side of whole grain bread or a light soup, like Sausage And Cabbage Soup, can complement the dish well. For a festive touch, sprinkle some shredded cheese on top before serving.

Storage & Reheating

Leftover stuffed green peppers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, place them in a covered dish in the microwave or oven to ensure they heat evenly. If using the oven, preheat to 350°F (175°C) and cover with foil to retain moisture.
