Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup condensed mushroom soup
  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a large baking dish.
  3. In a skillet, cook pork sausage, chopped onion, and chopped broccoli until the sausage is browned and the vegetables are soft.
  4. Pour off excess fat; stir in condensed mushroom soup.
  5. Divide the thawed bread dough into 6 equal parts.
  6. On a floured surface, roll out one part into a 6-inch round.
  7. Spread a portion of the sausage mixture over half of the dough round.
  8. Sprinkle with Romano and Cheddar cheese.
  9. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the sides together to seal.
  10. Place the filled pockets on the prepared baking dish.
  11. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  12. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
