Ingredients

  • 2 c. margarine, melted
  • 2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. oatmeal
  • 2 c. cornflakes
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • nuts (as desired)
  • raisins (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Blend melted margarine and brown sugar together.
  2. Stir in beaten eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix in oatmeal and cornflakes.
  4. Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix well.
  6. Stir in nuts and raisins as desired.
  7. Drop by tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12 minutes.
