- Blend melted margarine and brown sugar together.
- Stir in beaten eggs and vanilla extract.
- Mix in oatmeal and cornflakes.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix well.
- Stir in nuts and raisins as desired.
- Drop by tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12 minutes.
