Ingredients

  • large slice round steak
  • salt and pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can whole stewed tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp gravy mix
  • 1 package onion soup
  • green or red onions
  • 1 large stalk broccoli
  • 4 to 5 carrots
  • 2 to 3 celery stalks
  • mushrooms
  • small red potatoes

Instructions

  1. Pound or have the butcher pound the large slice of round steak.
  2. Trim excess fat and cut the steak into serving-sized slices.
  3. Brown the meat in light oil over medium heat.
  4. Add salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce to the meat while cooking.
  5. Set the browned meat aside.
