Tips & Substitutions

For a lighter version of Edora Gunch, consider using ground turkey instead of beef, or a mix of both for added flavor. If you don’t have Beau Monde seasoning, a blend of celery salt, onion powder, and garlic powder can work well. Fresh herbs like thyme or oregano can also enhance the dish. Be mindful not to overcook the noodles to prevent them from becoming mushy.

Serving Suggestions

Edora Gunch is delightful served hot, with a side of steamed vegetables or a crisp green salad for a balanced meal. You can also serve it over a bed of rice if you prefer extra texture. This dish pairs beautifully with Lime Cream Pie for dessert or a fresh fruit salad for a lighter finish.

Storage & Reheating

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in a microwave-safe dish and cover with a damp paper towel to keep the moisture in. Heat on medium power until warmed through, or re-bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated thoroughly.
