Fisherman'S Catch Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. fish (any kind)
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped carrots
  • 1/4 c. snipped parsley
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, mashed
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle clam juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c. light cream
  • 1 1/2 c. diced potatoes

Instructions

  1. Cut cleaned fish into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Add all ingredients except flour, butter and cream to crock-pot and stir.
  3. Cover and cook 7 to 8 hours on low.
  4. One hour before serving, combine flour, butter and cream.
  5. Stir in mixture until it is slightly thickened.
