Fisherman'S Catch Chowder
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. fish (any kind) ⓘ
- 1/2 c. chopped onion ⓘ
- 1/2 c. chopped celery ⓘ
- 1/2 c. chopped carrots ⓘ
- 1/4 c. snipped parsley ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, mashed ⓘ
- 1/2 c. dry white wine ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) bottle clam juice ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. flour ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine ⓘ
- 1/3 c. light cream ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. diced potatoes ⓘ
Instructions
- Cut cleaned fish into 1-inch pieces.
- Add all ingredients except flour, butter and cream to crock-pot and stir.
- Cover and cook 7 to 8 hours on low.
- One hour before serving, combine flour, butter and cream.
- Stir in mixture until it is slightly thickened.
