Ingredients

  • 2 c. quick Quaker oats
  • 2 c. shredded wheat
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. All-Bran
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 5 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix together oats, All-Bran, shredded wheat, and oil.
  2. Pour boiling water over the mixture and let it cool.
  3. Add buttermilk, eggs, and sugar to the cooled mixture and mix well.
  4. Sift together salt, flour, and baking soda.
  5. Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Store the mixture in a glass gallon jar in the refrigerator.
