Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 slices bread, crumbled
  • 2/3 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2/3 c. shredded carrots, partially cooked
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar, catsup, and mustard to make the glaze.
  2. Spread the glaze over the formed beef loaf.
  3. Continue baking for an additional 15 minutes until the glaze is set and bubbly.
