Ingredients

  • 2 lb frozen gnocchi
  • 3 Tbsp margarine
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 c half and half
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 1/2 c shredded Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook gnocchi according to package directions.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt margarine over medium heat.
  4. Add grated onion and sauté until translucent.
  5. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Gradually whisk in half and half and chicken broth, cooking until the sauce thickens.
  7. Add shredded Swiss cheese and stir until melted.
  8. Combine cooked gnocchi with the cheese sauce and serve hot.
