Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots, sliced thin
  • 1 sweet onion, sliced thin
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine tomato soup, sugar, dry mustard, vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper and beat for 3 minutes.
  2. Pour the mixture over the sliced carrots and onions.
  3. Let stand in the refrigerator for 24 hours before serving.
  4. Keeps indefinitely.
