Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 4 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats, uncooked
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup nonfat dried milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 (12 oz.) package dried mixed fruits, cut
  • 1 (8 oz.) package dried pitted dates, cut

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, peanut butter, vegetable oil, and brown sugar in a saucepan and heat until it comes to a simmer.
  2. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  3. Combine all remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a rectangular pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  5. Cool and store in an airtight container.
