Granola Crunch
A crunchy, sweet and nutty granola mix packed with oats, dried fruits, and peanuts, perfect for breakfast or snacking and suitable for those craving a hearty, wholesome treat.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey ⓘ
- 1/2 cup peanut butter ⓘ
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil ⓘ
- 1/3 cup brown sugar ⓘ
- 4 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats, uncooked
- 1 cup wheat germ ⓘ
- 1/2 cup nonfat dried milk ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts ⓘ
- 1 (12 oz.) package dried mixed fruits, cut ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) package dried pitted dates, cut ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine honey, peanut butter, vegetable oil, and brown sugar in a saucepan and heat until it comes to a simmer.
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Combine all remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Spoon the mixture into a rectangular pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Cool and store in an airtight container.
