Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook green beans until tender, then cut into 1-inch pieces.
  3. In a bowl, toss beans with salad oil, vinegar, instant minced onion, salt, crushed garlic, and pepper.
  4. Pour the bean mixture into an ungreased 1-quart casserole.
  5. In a small bowl, combine dry bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the beans.
  7. Sprinkle with paprika.
  8. Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
