Ham Primavera
Ham Primavera combines tender ham, fresh vegetables, and pasta in a creamy, flavorful sauce, perfect for a family dinner or casual gathering with a comforting Italian flair.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced ⓘ
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. flour ⓘ
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning ⓘ
- 2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 2 c. milk ⓘ
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. thin spaghetti, cooked and drained ⓘ
- 2 c. cubed fully cooked ham ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed ⓘ
- grated Parmesan cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- In a large skillet, sauté mushrooms and onion in oil until tender.
- Stir in flour, Italian seasoning, chicken bouillon granules, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes.
- Stir in cooked and drained spaghetti, cubed ham, and thawed peas; heat through.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
