Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped onions
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix

Instructions

  1. Saute ground beef and chopped onions in cooking oil until cooked through.
  2. Add chili powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce, canned tomatoes, and drained kidney beans; stir to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch x 13-inch baking pan.
  4. Prepare Jiffy cornbread mix according to package instructions and pour over the beef and bean mixture.
  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden brown and cooked through.
