Hash Brown Hash(Microwave Easy)

Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1 cup frozen loose pack hash brown potatoes ⓘ
- 1 cup finely chopped cooked beef ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons snipped parsley (optional) ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
- 5 ounces can evaporated milk ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour ⓘ
- 1 green pepper, seeded and cut into wedges (optional) ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon margarine ⓘ
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped onion, frozen hash brown potatoes, cooked beef, parsley (if using), Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Microwave on high for about 5-7 minutes, stirring halfway through, until heated through and potatoes are tender.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine evaporated milk and flour, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Add the milk mixture to the hash brown mixture and stir well to combine.
- Melt the margarine in a skillet or microwave-safe dish, then add the hash brown mixture, spreading evenly.
- Microwave or cook in the oven until hot and slightly browned on top, about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve hot with green pepper wedges on the side or garnish, if desired.
