Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together all ingredients: ground beef, green pepper, onion, Worcestershire sauce, celery, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into a loaf shape.
  3. Spread catsup on top of the loaf.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Cover with foil for the first hour of baking.
