Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. egg noodles
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook onions in oleo for a few minutes, then remove.
  2. Cook ground beef in the same pan until no red remains.
  3. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer cooked noodles, then onions.
  4. Sprinkle thyme, Accent, pepper, and salt over the meat layer.
  5. Mix milk with cream of mushroom soup.
  6. Pour the mushroom soup mixture over the meat and noodle layers.
  7. Add grated cheese on top, then pour beaten egg over the cheese.
  8. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
