Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 8 oz. cooked egg noodles
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions.
  2. Brown the ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped celery in oil in a large skillet.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage and steam until tender, ensuring no water is added as cabbage releases moisture.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet during the last 5 minutes of cooking to heat through.
  6. Serve hot with a green salad and French bread.
