Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup prunes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup Sugar Twin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pecans

Instructions

  1. Simmer chopped dates, raisins, and prunes in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in butter and let cool.
  3. Add flour, Sugar Twin, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, apple juice, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  5. Bake at 325° to 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
