- In a skillet, brown the ground beef; add chopped onion, salt, pepper, and seasonings; cook until beef is no longer pink.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
- Add canned corn, mushroom soup, mushroom pieces (if using), pimentos, and cream cheese to the meat mixture; stir until the cheese melts and the mixture is well combined.
- Pour the meat and sauce mixture into a casserole dish.
- Add the cooked noodles on top of the mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
