- Make the night ahead.
- Grease a 13 x 9-inch or slightly larger deep cake pan.
- Toss ham, broccoli, and cheese together.
- Spoon half of the mixture into the bottom of the pan.
- Slice French bread into 16 slices.
- Arrange bread slices in 2 long overlapping rows in the pan.
- Put the rest of the broccoli mixture on top of the bread.
- In a bowl, mix eggs, Dijon mustard, milk, chopped onion, and hot pepper sauce.
- Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and bread.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake at 350°F uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes.
