Ingredients

  • 20 oz. frozen broccoli cuts
  • 12 oz. sliced ham, cubed
  • 12 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 (9 1/2 oz.) French bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco or hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

Instructions

  1. Make the night ahead.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9-inch or slightly larger deep cake pan.
  3. Toss ham, broccoli, and cheese together.
  4. Spoon half of the mixture into the bottom of the pan.
  5. Slice French bread into 16 slices.
  6. Arrange bread slices in 2 long overlapping rows in the pan.
  7. Put the rest of the broccoli mixture on top of the bread.
  8. In a bowl, mix eggs, Dijon mustard, milk, chopped onion, and hot pepper sauce.
  9. Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and bread.
  10. Sprinkle with paprika.
  11. Bake at 350°F uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes.
