Ingredients

  • 3 lb ground beef
  • 1 to 2 tsp garlic juice
  • 4 Tbsp margarine
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 4 green onions
  • 1 (10 oz) egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in butter and drain excess fat.
  2. Add garlic juice to the beef and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper to the beef mixture and stir.
  4. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  5. Mix cream cheese and sour cream together and fold in chopped green onions.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles with the beef mixture and the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and top with grated Cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
