Tips & Substitutions

For a nuttier flavor, consider using pecans or walnuts instead of chopped nuts. If you're looking to make a healthier version, try substituting half of the flour with whole wheat flour or using coconut oil instead of margarine. Be sure to keep an eye on the bars while baking, as ovens can vary in temperature, which may affect the browning of the crust.

Serving Suggestions

These Kraft Bars make a delightful dessert on their own, but serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. They pair well with coffee or a glass of milk, making them perfect for an afternoon snack. For a festive touch, consider serving them at your next gathering, alongside dishes like Chili Mac Bake.

Storage & Reheating

Once cooled, store the Kraft Bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. If you want to keep them for longer, you can refrigerate them for up to two weeks. For best results, reheat individual bars in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds to enjoy the gooey chocolate chips.
