Kraft Bars
Kraft Bars combine rich caramel, chocolate chips, and a hearty oatmeal crust for a delicious treat perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and sharing with friends.

- Melt the Kraft caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in the top of a double boiler until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and soda.
- Add melted margarine to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Stir in oatmeal and chopped nuts into the mixture.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Pour the melted caramel mixture over the baked crust and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel layer.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the chocolate chips are melted.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
