Ingredients

  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. quick oatmeal
  • 1 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. walnuts, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to between 400° and 425° F.
  2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a cookie sheet.
  4. Bake for approximately 10 minutes, watching carefully.
