Lamb Pie

- Have lamb cut into 2-inch cubes and trim excess fat. Roll each piece in seasoned flour.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add the floured lamb pieces. Add sliced onions and brown the lamb well on all sides.
- Pour off excess oil, then add boiling water. Cover and simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
- Add vegetables and marjoram to the pot. Continue cooking until carrots are tender.
- Remove the meat and vegetables to a casserole or baking dish.
- Thicken the gravy and pour it over the meat and vegetables.
- Cover with canned biscuits and bake until biscuits are golden and done.
