A hearty layered casserole combining savory ground beef with tender potatoes, carrots, and onions, all topped with creamy soup for a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 6 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 4 medium carrots, sliced
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Place alternate layers of carrots, potatoes, and onions in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  2. Press ground beef on top of the layered vegetables.
  3. Dilute the cream of chicken soup with 1/2 cup of water.
  4. Pour the diluted soup slowly over the meat and vegetables.
  5. Cover the casserole and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
