Ingredients

  • 2 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour
  • 5 c. oatmeal
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 24 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
  • 8 oz. Hershey bar
  • 3 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  2. Mix together the flour, oatmeal (blended into powder), salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips, grated or chopped Hershey bar, and nuts.
  5. Place golf ball-sized cookies 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 6 minutes.
