Lo-Fat Banana Bread

- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flours, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and baking soda.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg whites, mashed bananas, buttermilk, applesauce, and vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan and serving.
