Ingredients

  • 8 oz. can lobster, shrimp or crabmeat
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. light cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. dry sherry

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion and green pepper in butter or margarine until tender.
  2. Add flour and cook briefly to form a roux.
  3. Stir in light cream, cream of mushroom soup, and nutmeg until well blended.
  4. Add lobster, shrimp, or crabmeat, and dry sherry; cook until heated through.
  5. Stir in shredded Cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Serve warm as an appetizer or dip.
