Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 medium sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 (14-ounce) can chop suey vegetables, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 (10-ounce) jar sweet & sour sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, soy sauce, drained chop suey vegetables, garlic powder, pepper, bread crumbs, and beaten egg. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  3. Pour sweet & sour sauce over the top of the loaf.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven until cooked through, approximately 20 minutes.
  5. Garnish as desired and serve.
