Ingredients

  • 12 oz. jumbo shells
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup flavored bread crumbs
  • 4 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 3/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 32 oz. spaghetti sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook jumbo shells according to package directions; drain and cool on paper towels.
  2. Brown ground beef and ground pork in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. Combine cooked meat, eggs, bread crumbs, shredded Mozzarella cheese, chopped onion, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each shell with approximately 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture.
  5. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  6. Place filled shells open side down in a single layer in the pan.
  7. Cover the shells with the remaining spaghetti sauce.
  8. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes.
