Ingredients

  • cabbage
  • kidney beans
  • tomato paste
  • salt
  • pepper
  • wesson pure vegetable oil
  • parmesan cheese
  • onion
  • beef broth
  • celery
  • water
  • clove garlic
  • rosemary
  • elbow macaroni
  • frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Cook garlic, onion, and celery in Wesson oil in a large kettle.
  2. Stir in Hunt's tomato paste and the next seven ingredients.
  3. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer slowly for 1 hour.
  4. Add remaining ingredients, except cheese.
  5. Cook for 15 minutes more.
  6. Garnish with Parmesan cheese before serving.
