Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, honey, and vanilla extract until the mixture is fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and ground nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in the coarsely chopped walnuts, currants or raisins, and chopped glaced cherries or mixed glaced fruit.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cookies are golden around the edges.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
