Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground moose meat or ground beef ⓘ
- 1 egg, lightly beaten ⓘ
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch, divided ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks ⓘ
- 1/2 c. sugar ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce ⓘ
- 1 medium green pepper, cut in strips ⓘ
- hot, cooked wide egg noodles ⓘ
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground meat, egg, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, salt, pepper, and chopped onion.
- Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs.
- In a large skillet, brown the meatballs in cooking oil over medium heat.
- Cover and cook over low heat until the meatballs are cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, and pineapple chunks.
- Add the pineapple mixture and green pepper strips to the skillet with the meatballs.
- Simmer until the sauce is heated through and the peppers are tender.
- Serve hot over cooked wide egg noodles.
