Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 cups sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup applesauce

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and butter until well combined.
  2. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
  3. Stir in sifted flour, soda, cinnamon, baking powder, nutmeg, and cloves.
  4. Add quick oats, nuts, raisins, and applesauce; mix well.
  5. Drop teaspoon-sized portions onto a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes at 375°F (190°C).
