Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 4 small carrots
  • celery sticks
  • 3 to 4 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Place the meat in the center of a large piece of aluminum foil capable of wrapping all ingredients.
  2. Sprinkle the meat with the onion soup mix.
  3. Cover the meat with quartered carrots, celery sticks, and halved potatoes.
  4. Dot the vegetables with butter and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Fold the foil to seal completely, trapping the juices inside.
  6. Place the foil-wrapped package on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
