Ingredients

  • 1 cup ground cooked ham
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped pimiento
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped chives
  • 3 tablespoons dried parsley, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Combine ground cooked ham, softened cream cheese, chopped green pepper, chopped onion, chopped pimiento, prepared horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and ground pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Mix well to blend all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Spoon the mixture onto waxed paper and mold into two logs about 3 to 4 inches long.
  4. Wrap the logs and chill in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
  5. On waxed paper, combine chopped chives with crumbled dried parsley.
  6. Roll the chilled logs in the chive and parsley mixture, coating generously.
  7. Arrange the logs on a serving plate and serve with crackers and sliced vegetables if desired.
