Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 cups beef bouillon
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. In the top of a double boiler, melt the margarine.
  2. Add the minced onion and chopped celery.
  3. Saute until tender.
  4. Place the mixture over boiling water.
  5. Add creamy peanut butter and flour; blend well.
  6. Stir in beef bouillon and lemon juice.
  7. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Garnish with chopped peanuts when serving.
