Pecan Nut Cups

Delicious pecan nut cups feature a creamy filling in a buttery, flaky crust, perfect for festive gatherings or as sweet treats for nut lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix together the cream cheese, flour, and butter by hand until dough does not stick to sides of bowl.
  2. Refrigerate the dough until well chilled.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients to prepare the filling.
  4. Take the dough from the refrigerator and shape into shells using miniature muffin tins.
  5. Do not grease the tins.
  6. Put a spoonful of nut filling into each shell.
  7. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Cool in tins and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
